WONDERFUL LOOK

The series "TO BE OR NOT TO BE..." includes a few paintings, but new paintings appear occasionally. This series is a reflection, ideological, humanistic, and philosophical position. But as an Artist, I try to create an associative image that is accessible to interpretation and individual reading by each viewer. I do not want to impose my view and my thoughts. But I want to maybe "ASK QUESTIONS...." I think works of art should provoke thoughts and "ASK QUESTIONS", but not impose "ANSWERS". The world is multifaceted and changeable around us... So, the series contains different themes and therefore different concepts for each picture.
“PRAYER.” The basic concept of this work is not religious in the direct understanding of the topic of prayer or repentance. This is a reflection on the essence of man, on his inalienable forever hidden within, fear of the world, and an attempt to find protection in the created images of gods and religions in a dialogue or monologue with the world. A poor body that bears the traces of this world and years lived, and the mind, seeking to find support and the meaning of being in something higher and more perfect.
 "ASH." is my thoughts on values, humanity, and grief of despair. This is an allegory, a figurative embodiment of a tormented hard fate, tired of tragedies and war, the UKRAINIAN LAND. 
“ADAM. SELF-CULT.” It is a reflection of the modern transformation of the image of masculinity. I am not trying to flesh out the image, I believe that Art should ask questions without answering them, so here I am speaking with symbols. (For example, dead birds symbolize female souls in the collection of an egoist, carried away by himself and new trends of progress) This image, of course, has no specific connection with religion, it is just the use of philosophy.  
"BURDEN." That's my metaphor for life's journey. An old fisherman, who has spent all his strength and lifetime trying to catch a large fish, cannot carry it, he is bent by sweat. Time is spent meanings and goals are gone and changed....

Dance is music you can see. It is movement. It's energy. And it is the passion of the artist. Colours dance in the pictures. The multi-layers of glowing colours in a controlled spillage  bring movement and energy to the dance paintings, just like the artist's energetic painting strokes. Some paintings are more figurative in the appearance of silhouettes, while others are pure abstract.
Some paintings, as in the case of the Andalusian series, connect the author's passion and interest in dance with her interest in fashion design, but in a purely artistic way.

ABSTRACT COLOURS

The "INFINITIF" series consists of portraits of women made with charcoal and mixed media on natural linen canvas by the artist Zoé B.

There is something primitive, almost animal for some of these large format faces that brings the viewer back to that part of the human being that remains authentic, a raw and instinctual self that remains beyond the turmoil of our external personalities.

A verb in the INFINITIVE describes an action that is not conjugated. No "I" or "we" to act. In other words, a raw action devoid of voluntary intention.


INFINITIF

Black is not sad when it serves as a base for an explosion of colours. The gold leaf collage technique allows a whole composition of lively colours around the light generated by this shiny gold in contrast with the black background and allows one to imagine fanciful worlds according to one's feelings

The samurai were created in 2016 following my research on japan where the samurai were massacred by the shogun following their evangelization by the monks of portugal. The Scorsese film The Silence was released the following year by coincidence.

The colour, but also the cutting of his planes, his treatment of the light, he gives back to the landscapes he paints a dreamlike and warm side as a tribute to his subjects.
Jean-Claude Mege renews the very notion of landscape painting by infusing it with a touch of modernity.  For the "PERSONNAGES" collection, the Artist explores the themes of identity, femininity, and the relationship with others and the world. In this series, we can find scenes from everyday life, but also a fantastic world brimming with imagination.


PERSONNAGES

My paintings are mainly done in acrylic, sometimes with the addition of walnut stain or Indian ink.
I work on the ground, and my work evolves through the treatment of the material that I transform with different tools such as large craft knives. The surface of the canvas is often treated differently. With scraping and crushing, the blacks and colours appear more or less intensely depending on the exposure light. Sometimes, here and there, projections complete a canvas.

MES ABSTRAITES

Why 100 titles? Often in contemporary art, paintings have no title but are titled "untitled".
Saname has created this series entitled "100 titles" which will be composed of 100 "untitled" paintings. Many "titles" to avoid giving !!!!

Urban Figuration is a collection mixing the pop culture of my childhood, the history of art which accompanies me since the time of my studies and the urban arts which represents the quintessence of the art; to convey emotions to the greatest number thanks to its accessibility. This also defines what I think an NFT is.
You can easily see Scrooge or SpongeBob with references to the works of René Magritte or Egon Schiele in a colourful and urban style.

ICÔNE ! HIPSTER AND CO 

I had a sneaking suspicion that there was more going on than my five senses could tell me. This is how I found my window into worlds that lie beyond the vanity of worldly affairs, places that no man has ever seen. I knew I needed to explore these unseen realms, relying on my intuition to find the answers I sought. As my attention sinks into these imaginary worlds, it gradually loses the focal dynamics of ordinary perception and, at a specific moment, reveals its original potential - pure and living Consciousness.

DESTINATION BEYOND

This collection is the result of my collaboration with Lions Clubs International to express the six main humanitarian goals of Lions Clubs (fighting hunger and poverty - protecting the environment - diabetes - childhood cancer - visually impaired - autism) I started working on achieving these goals by producing huge paintings that deeply touch everyone with the same compassion and the same human feeling. It is talk about the poor and vulnerable around the world and the help and happiness that lions provide, just like giving back their strength and their heartbeat. 

BEAT

Once upon a time there was a psychedelic city with walls scrawled with dreams. A man with oblong ears, immersed in deep perplexity... Alice-gothic, his white rabbit has a fixed eye and no longer shows; Metro, giant buildings, melody from here and elsewhere...

D'ICI ET D'AILLEURS...

The Sea Artworks collection was created in such a way that I poured the beauty of the sea on linen. You will see a lot of colorful fish, but sometimes the fish, as with the painted objects,are irrelevant. What is important are the colors, bright and positive, which bring joy into our lives.
