After attending the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, I spent a long time practicing sculpture and drawing. As part of my graphic research, I gradually came to painting using pastels. For me, painting is a commentary on painting, its principle being to reinvent itself through new perceptions. I see the painting, in the same way as the other Arts, as a phenomenon of thought that strives to construct a form of sensitive but coherent 'system intuitively', with the awareness that the painter's work is fundamentally not planned but transformed, that most of his work is secret, unprovable...

Drawing on a screen is quite different from working physically on a concrete surface with a tool in your hand. tool in hand.
